Nurturing Leading Talent for a Well-Being Society

Offering A Wonderful Way of Life

High school students browsing this website: What kind of dreams do you have for your future? What kind of adult do you want to be? It’s a difficult question with no easy answer. Parents and guardians also have a lot of concerns. I also had troubles when I was in high school. Fifty years later, I can now offer you a wonderful vision of the future. It is a way of life that will be gladly acceptable to the society while supporting people’s health and a safe and reliable living environment.

Takasaki University – Leading A Well-being Society

We want to develop talent to lead this Well-Being society. A Well-Being society enables you to feel satisfaction and happiness through physical, mental, and social health. It is centered on medicine and health, welfare, education, food, etc. A Well-Being society is in the spotlight as a link to the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) promoted by the United Nations in the hope of achieving sustainable happiness for all people in the world. Our university is a comprehensive university that leads the so-called Well-Being society with its 5 special departments and 8 special courses for supporting people’s happiness, ranging from pharmaceutical welfare to children’s education, food and agriculture.

Nurturing and Supporting with Passionate Mindset

We have devised various types of learning to develop this talent. Deep learning from the basics to implementation in the local community is of course necessary when cultivating highly skilled experts. This learning in a wide range of fields nurtures a flexible perspective that is indispensable for living in future society, not just as an expert, but as an individual. This learning develops the ability to interact, understand, and collaborate with diverse people in a global environment. This learning is guaranteed by student-focused “face-to-face” small-group training, and it is possible to have a larger number of faculty members than national universities, with one full-time faculty member for every 2.8 enrollment slots. Moreover, the faculty members are all talented people who are second in the prefecture only to Gunma University in the amount of competitive scientific research funds obtained from the national government. We are also proud of our staff who support students with kindness and a keen eye like younger siblings or children. These faculty members are in charge of talent development, driven by the passionate mindset of Jiri-Rita (benefit yourself and benefit others), the Kendai spirit. This has resulted in a job placement rate of 100%, and our passing rate for various national examinations is one of the highest in the country. Furthermore, we receive high praise from our students’ employers, who consider them well-rounded experts in the making.

Let’s Make Your Dreams Happen

High school students and parents, please take a look at our website to get a sense of how extraordinary our university is. High school students, experience growth at our university to become leading talent for Well-Being society, support healthy affluence for people, and embark toward a wonderful vision of the future that will please the society. What do you think? We’re waiting for you.
