Training of human resources who possess both rich education and reliable professional skills
The Department of Health and Welfare aims to train professional human resources who can contribute to human health and welfare and is comprised of three departments, Department of Medical Information, Department of Social Welfare, and Department of Health and Nutrition. After graduation, students of each department are employed in jobs which are directly related to the improvement of health and welfare of people in the society. Hence, enrolled students are required to cultivate intelligence and sensitivity based on a rich education, and firmly acquire basic knowledge and skills in each field of specialization. To achieve these goals, the Department of Health and Welfare provides guidance that values the personality of each student, through systematic lectures, and practice/experiments/trainings conducted in small groups.
