タイ、ベトナム、台湾からの看護学生受入プログラムを実施しました

国立研究開発法人科学技術振興機構（JST）の国際青少年サイエンス交流事業「さくらサイエンスプログラム」にて、2023年10月15日～10月22日、本学と学術協定を結んでいるタマサート大学、ホーチミン医科薬科大学、弘光科技大学それぞれより4名、4名、2名、計10名の看護学生を招へいし、研修を行いました。

7日間の研修期間中、高崎健康福祉大学看護学科をはじめ大学横断的に取り組んでいる地域に住む高齢者の安全?自立を支えるチーム医療に関する研究について集中講義を受講するとともに、ハイブリッドシミュレーターを用いた演習やイノベーションプロジェクトの創出をするためのグループワーク?プレゼンテーション、本学付属施設や関連医療施設の見学を行いました。さらに、フィールドトリップおよび大学祭への参加など、日本の文化にも触れて、在学生との交流を通じ、日本人学生のみならず、他国の留学生たちとも交流を行いました。

　海外研修生は今回の研修を通して、高齢社会における高齢者の身体的機能の特徴に応じた看護の必要性に加えて、高齢者への精神的支援の大事さについても学習することができました。また、イノベーションプロジェクトを創出する過程で、課題発見力と課題解決能力を育み、自国社会の健康課題や医療事情における先端科学技術の導入を検討することもできました。

From the 15th to 22nd October, ten nursing students were invited for training under the Sakura Science Program, an international youth science exchange program of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). The participants included four students from Thammasat University, four from Ho Chi Minh Medicine and Pharmacy University, and two from HungKuang University, all of which have academic agreements with the University.

During the seven-day training period, the participants attended intensive lectures on team medicine studies that support the safety and independence of elderly people living in the community. This study is being carried out in various departments, including the Department of Nursing at Takasaki University of Health and Welfare. The participants also took part in exercises using a hybrid simulator, an elderly experience suit, and worked on creating an innovation project. Group work and presentations were carried out, as well as tours of university affiliated facilities and medical facilities. In addition, the students had the opportunity to experience Japanese culture through excursions and participation in the university festival. They interacted not only with the Japanese students, but also with international students from other countries through exchanges with current students.

Through this training, the participants gained knowledge about the importance of psychological support as well as the necessity of nursing care for the physical functions of the elderly in an ageing society. They also had the opportunity to improve their ability to find and solve problems while creating innovative projects. Additionally, they explored implementing advanced science and technology in order to address health concerns and medical situations within their societies.
